Ofsted
Our setting is unique in a number of ways. We are a local authority maintained nursery school, and we are also an Ofsted-registered Early Years provider for children aged 0–5 years. This enables us to offer both funded and non-funded places, depending on children’s ages and family needs.
Our baby room (0–2 years) provides full-day childcare all year round. Places may be accessed through government Working Families funding (where eligible) alongside parent-funded childcare.
Our toddler and pre-school rooms are funded through a combination of government childcare funding offers, including Telford & Wrekin Talking Twos funding, Working Families funding, and the universal entitlement for 3–4-year-olds. Some children also attend nursery during school holidays, depending on family needs and eligibility.
Ofsted inspections – what does this mean for our nursery?
Ofsted inspects local authority maintained nursery schools to provide clear information for parents, to promote continual improvement, and to ensure accountability for public funding.
On behalf of the Governing Board, we are delighted to share the latest Ofsted inspection report for the nursery school.
June 2025 Nursery School Inspection Report
We are extremely proud of the achievements recognised by Ofsted.
In addition, providers on the Early Years Register, who care for children from birth to five years, also receive regular Ofsted inspections. These inspections evaluate the overall quality of the provision and ensure that all statutory requirements and standards are being met.
On behalf of the Governing Board, we are also pleased to publish the latest Ofsted inspection report for our Early Years registered provision.
