Make your own paint brushes using natural found materials in the garden. Can you make paint using soil and water?
Small World Fun
Use cardboard trays, boxes, tubes, bottle caps and many more loose parts from around your home to create a small world.
Homemade Light box
Use a clear box with a lid, add in some LED lights. What happens when you put different objects on top?
Cling Film painting
Turn a table upside down, wrap clingfilm around the legs and paint away.
Painting with Clingfilm
Squirt out small dots of different coloured paint onto a piece of paper. Next get a piece of cling film (big enough to cover your paint) and place it on top of your paper. Then use your hands to push down the paint on top of the cling film. This is a fantastic sensory activity with little mess.
No cling film? have a go with foil for a nice shiny experience.
What can you make from recycled materials? Maybe a robot, an aeroplane or even a castle?
Making Colour Collections
Can you collect different objects from around your home that are the same colour?
