At Oakengates Nursery School we are committed to developing each child intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally. We believe the firm foundations we set down through our beliefs, curriculum and teaching will help our children to manage life’s challenges.
We strive to make our Nursery a caring community and our children sensitive to the needs of others; a community in which all members have a sense of fairness and justice and the contribution of each member is valued.
Within the Federation governors, teachers, support staff, children and parents have established a vision statement which is based on our five core values. Our Spiritual, Moral, Social Cultural curriculum ensures children learn about how to stay safe, in school, online or out in the community. They also learn about similarities and differences and how to respect each others points of view. The children play an active role in making decisions and contributing to the ethos of our settings.
