Our holiday club offers childcare during the school holidays for children who attend our nursery. The routines and activities for our babies remain the same as usual. However the toddlers and preschool children have different routines and activities during the holidays.
During our holiday club provision we encourage children to learn, play and make new friends. Our carefully planned activities are designed to build children's self esteem and confidence. We offer fun things to do and children have access to different resources. We use the children's ideas and interests to plan. Children can have fun baking, playing sports games, dancing and making things. Children have access to activities both inside and outside. Sometimes we go on adventures in the local area or further afield.
We try to recreate a home from home environment where children can relax and enjoy themselves during the holiday period.

Below is further information about how our holiday operates during the school holiday period.
Children will require a hat and sun cream with a name label if we do not have these on site your child may not be able to join in with the planned outdoor activities.
Parents will need to ring the reception doorbell for attention when dropping off and collecting children.
The nursery office will be closed so if you need to contact the nursery please leave a message using the nursery answerphone or contact us through Parent Zone our communication system and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
If you need to speak with someone in an emergency please use this number 07340 751171. Please note this number will only be in operation during the school holidays when the admin office is closed.
Additional guidance for Coronavirus
Our current risk assessment for covid19 will remain in place during the holiday club period so the following procedures will continue:
To reduce any infection in nursery and due to the rising cases of COVID-19 locally please only send your child to nursery if they are well. If they arrive unwell we will ask you to take them home.
If your child becomes unwell whilst at nursery we will contact you. Please arrive at nursery as quickly and as safely as you can to collect your child.
Parents will be expected to keep unwell children at home for 48 hours. Please don’t bring your child back to nursery until they are fully recovered.
Getting tested and information required during the holiday club period.
Telford and Wrekin offer PCR testing for anyone displaying precautionary symptoms:
- Aches and pains
- Feeling very tired for no reason
- Sore throat
- Runny nose
- Tummy ache in children
Children and parents do not need to isolate if they are waiting for the results of a precautionary test but children who are unwell should not attend the nursery.
Children and families must isolate and book a PCR test if they have one of the main symptoms:
- High temperature
- New persistent cough
- Loss of taste or smell
Please inform us if your child or anyone in your household is having a test or isolating.
Contact us as soon as you have the results by leaving a message on the nursery answer machine or send a message through Parent Zone.
You can book a test by calling 119 or through the coronavirus government online booking system https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test
We cannot accept results of Lateral Flow Tests (LFT) conducted at home. The government guidance states that these are for children over 11 years of age and are mainly used to detect whether a person is a-symptomatic (infectious but not showing symptoms).
